MY LAW PRACTICE

Before you hire an attorney for your case, we need to talk. I’m not a fancy big-firm lawyer with a marble office or a Monet on the wall. I work hard to keep my overhead low, which translates into reasonable rates for you. I will take the time to handle your case from our first meeting until the case is fully resolved. When we speak, you will quickly learn that I am a straight shooter. I am not going to make any false promises about how strong your case is, or about how much the process will cost. I will give you my opinion about your case and discuss how we can work together to achieve the results that you want with a predictable fee. Matthew offers flat fees.  

MY BACKGROUND

After graduating from Duke Law School, in 2002, I worked for law firms in Missouri and Illinois. While I have handled cases for Blockbuster and other large corporations, I have also fought on behalf of individuals in a wide variety of areas ranging from family law to complex multi-million dollar commercial litigation. Since graduating, I have spent countless hours in courtrooms arguing complicated motions at hearings and trials. I have over 15 years of courtroom experience. I do not fear going to court. I do not fear threats from opposing counsel. My experience will serve you well because it will make it easier for me to advise you on the best course of action. I prefer resolving cases amicably, but if the situation calls for it, I will vigorously fight for your rights.
